Performing a Self Assessment Using HRSA’s Site Visit Guide
Date: August 25, 2010 2PM EDT
Online registration cutoff date: August 22, 2010
The Health Center Site Visit Guide is a review instrument used by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to assess an organization’s compliance with key section 330 Health Center Program requirements as well as a resource to assist grantees in identifying areas for performance or operational improvements. Health centers may also use this Guide as a self assessment resource as it provides a series of prompting questions for both program requirements and performance improvement. There are nineteen program requirements included in the review tool that health centers must address in any assessment.
Attend this webcast to hear about what your health center should have in-place for compliance with the requirements.

What You Should Know in Completing the FFR
Date: September 1, 2010 2PM EDT
Online registration cutoff date: August 29, 2010
Online registration cutoff date: August 29, 2010
This past year, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services implemented a new Federal reporting requirement, consolidating the Financial Status Report and Quarterly Federal Cash Transaction Report into one combined filing – the Federal Financial Report (FFR – Form 425). The FFR is filed through the eHandbook and contains summary financial information which DHHS uses to monitor your health center’s Federal grant drawdown position as well as the spending of the Federal grant.
This webcast will inform participants of the proper completion of the FFR as well as the impact of ARRA funding on the FFR. How to handle the establishment of reserves will also be discussed.

Dual Status Health Center: Strategic Considerations
Date: September 8, 2010 2PM EDT
Online registration cutoff date: September 5, 2010
Given the limited opportunity to apply for New Access Point (NAP) funding in the last few years, most 330 funded health centers added new sites to their 330 scope as a matter of course. However, given the new 330 funding through healthcare reform, NAP funding seems much more likely. Thus health centers who want to open new sites need an interim measure: a way to open the site, get FQHC reimbursement and still have the site be eligible for NAP funding. Becoming a dual status (both 330 funded & lookalike) health center may be the answer.
This session will cover the ins and outs of dual status health centers – how to become one, specific requirements, and considerations. We will also discuss strategies for adding new sites in the advent of healthcare reform.
