EXECUTIVE SEARCH: Finding, interviewing and hiring skilled, experience executives is a huge and time-consuming challenge. NACHC has engaged the firms of Goodwin & Company, and Edward Martin & Associates, to help its members with that task.
Based in Washington, D.C., Goodwin & Company is led by Tom Goodwin, with more than 20 years of experience helping non-profit groups fine key executives. Dick Bohrer, who directed the Community Health Center Program for the U.S. Public Health Service, leads efforts at Edward Martin & Associates to help health care companies.

TEMPORARY CLINICAL STAFFING: The need for health care continues, even when doctors and nurses leave to pursue other opportunities. To continue delivering care, health centers often need to enlist temporary help.
Thanks to a relationship negotiated by the NACHC, members can address their clinical staffing needs through the services of AMN Healthcare, and AMN’s subsidiary, Staff Care.
Staff Care, which finds temporary placements for more than 7,500 physicians each year, provides NACHC members with temporary physician staffing.
AMN Healthcare provides temporary nurse staffing, on a contingent basis.
The relationship with NACHC lets AMN Healthcare and Staff Care offer their services at preferred prices.
With both firms, fees are not due until the temporary clinician begins billable work.
