The First Lady Visits Washington, D.C. Community Health Center
The First Lady Michelle Obama today visited Unity Health Care, Inc., a Community Health Center with a site in Upper Cardozo, just a few short miles from the White House. The First Lady used the visit to highlight the critical role that health centers play in health care and announced more than $850 million worth of Recovery Act grants to help more than 1,500 Community Health Centers around the country with some much needed capital improvements.
