The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) allocated $2 billion specifically for health center infrastructure and operations.  Other funding contained in the stimulus package could be accessed by or for the benefit of health centers through specific workforce, technology or service investments.  This page is home to information about health centers and health information technology (HIT).

 

What's New on the Stimulus and Health Information Technology (HIT)

 

  • Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) launched a new site on Health Information Technology as provided for in ARRA. On this site, you can find information pertaining to Medicare and Medicaid incentives for EHR adoption, resources for EHR adoption and security and privacy (HIPAA) and links to other government sites.
