WHO WE ARE
AMN Healthcare offers a full range of permanent and temporary physician, nurse, and related health care professional staffing services. In June 2005, the firm received the Gold Seal of Approval for Corporate Certification from the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), and obtained recertification in April 2006.
Staff Care, a subsidiary of AMN Healthcare, matches over 7,500 temporary physicians each year with hospitals, medical groups, health centers, and clinics across the country. Staff Care offers a complete range of temporary physician staffing services: identifying appropriate candidates, arranging for travel and accommodation, and providing assistance with licensure and hospital credentialing. Staff Care also provides malpractice insurance to the independent contractor physicians it matches with temporary opportunities.
COMMITMENT TO HEALTH CENTER SUCCESS
Both AMN Healthcare and Staff Care are well-known in the temporary clinician staffing arena and know the needs of health centers through working with several member health centers in medically underserved areas. The relationship with NACHC allows AMN Healthcare and Staff Care to offer this service to members at preferred prices in all states and U.S. territories. Experience, knowledge, and expertise allow AMN and Staff Care to place the best-matched professional in each facility and provide the response and individualized service needed by health centers.
Under NACHC’s agreement with AMN Healthcare, Staff Care provides temporary physician staffing services, and AMN Healthcare provides temporary nurse staffing services, on a contingent basis. Fees are not due until the temporary physicians and/or nurses are in place, seeing patients, and generating revenue.
